Scope

Electrical Engineering & Electromechanics is a peer-reviewed open access scientific Journal, which publishes high-quality original articles with a strong focus on analytical, numerical and multiphysics techniques of modelling of electrophysical processes in electrical, electromechanical and electrical power installations and systems, on the development of new electrical devices and systems with improved technical, economic and environmental performance in such areas as: theoretical electrical engineering; engineering electrophysics; high electric and magnetic fields engineering; electrical machines and apparatus; electrical complexes and systems; power electronics; electrical insulation and cable engineering; electric transport; power stations, grids and systems; electrical safety. Articles that form the scientific basis for further development in these areas, as well as original articles with specific solutions of engineering problems are also approved. The aims and scope of the Journal is to present a forum for discussion and testing of techniques of modelling, calculation, experimental validation and development of new electrical devices and systems with improved technical, economic and environmental performance, as well as expanding the scope of their industrial use. The advantages of the Journal are due to the fact that Founders are a union of research and educational centers in the field of electrical engineering. Founders' extensive collaboration with research institutions around the world allows peer review of submitted manuscripts by the world-leading experts and to engage cutting-edge research results to publication in the Journal. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
