Journal of Korean Gerontological Nursing aims to improve the wellness and care quality of elderly people by the information exchange on the prospects and countermeasures of gerontological nursing. It provides nursing educators, practitioners, and researchers with up-to-date knowledge on gerontological nursing in Korea — one of the fastest-growing aging societies in the world. Its scope includes emerging clinical issues in acute and long-term care for elderly people. It welcomes quantitative research, qualitative research, methodological research, philosophical research, theoretical research, systematic review, meta-analyses, and instrument development. Manuscripts in other study designs can be considered by the editorial board. Its regional scope is mainly Korea, but it welcomes submissions from researchers and nurses all over the world.
