Scope

It is a distinct privilege to welcome all the participants to the city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. We warmly welcome you to the 2nd IEEE International Symposium on Nanoelectronic and Information Systems (IEEE-iNIS, http://www.ieee-inis.org/). The 1st IEEE-iNIS that took place at Indore, India was immensely successful. It was very well attended by researchers from industry and academia. The Proceeding of IEEE-iNIS 2015 is available in IEEE Xplore which has been produced through IEEE Computer Society Conference Publishing Services (CPS). An important aspect was that many papers of IEEE-iNIS 2015 were invited to Special Issues of IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology and Elsevier Integration- the VLSI Journal. The main goal of IEEE-iNIS is to provide a platform for both hardware and software researchers to interact under one roof for research and development which may lead to realization of efficient, robust, and secure information processing circuits and systems. IEEE-iNIS has been initiated as a sponsored meeting of Technical Committee on VLSI (TCVLSI, http://www.ieee-tcvlsi.org/), of IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS). It may be noted that TCVLSI is one among twodozen technical committees/councils of IEEE-CS which endorse different meetings in the scope of IEEE-CS. TCVLSI endorses a league of successful meetings including ARITH, ASAP, ISVLSI, IWLS, and SLIP. IEEE-iNIS right from the birth is among the league of many immensely successful “Sister Conferences”. IEEE-iNIS 2016 is sponsored by IEEE-CS through TCVLSI and technically co-sponsored by IEEE-CAS as well as IEEECEDA. IEEE-iNIS 2016 proceeding is also published by IEEE-CS Conference Publication Services (CPS). IEEE-NIS 2016 has continued attracting attendees from all over the globe. We hope that iNIS will continue attracting renowned people from various parts of the globe and continue serving the community in years to come. Join the conversation about this journal
SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.

Self-Cites

Evolution of the total number of citations and journal's self-citations received by a journal's published documents during the three previous years.
