Scope

Welcome to MSR 2016, the Thirteenth International Conference on Mining Software Repositories, held on May 14 - 15 in Austin, Texas, and co-located with the 38th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2016). This year marks the 13th edition of MSR. We are happy to report that the community of MSR researchers continues to grow and mature, while at the same time the research being performed is both deeper, and addressing a larger amounts of themes. Since 2004 MSR has grown from a one-day workshop with 38 submissions to a two-day conference with 170 submissions combined across all submission categories. To account for the growing industrial interest in smart data and data science, the technical track contains an additional submission category of practice papers, which report experiences of applying mining repository algorithms in an industry/open source organization context. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
