Scope

Molecular Genetics and Metabolism Reports is a peer reviewed, open access journal that publishes reports describing investigations that use the tools of biochemical genetics and molecular genetics for studies of normal and disease states. In addition to brief research articles, sequence reports, case reports and letters to the editor are considered. Research Areas include: - Newborn Screening and Diagnosis of Inherited Metabolic Diseases - Clinical Management and Treatment of Inborn Errors of Metabolism - Normal and Pathogenic Functioning Related to Biochemical Genetic Disease - Biochemical Studies of Primary and Secondary Enzyme Defects - Thresholds, Moonlighting Functions of Proteins and Biochemical Network Modules - Intercellular and Intracellular Metabolic Relationships. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
