Scope

Cuadernos de Vivienda y Urbanismo is a publication of Instituto Javeriano de Vivienda y Urbanismo-Injaviu (Javerian Institute of Housing and Urbanism) of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. This journal specializes in studies about the comprehension and solution of urban and housing problems, specifically for low-income populations. The journal publishes research advances and results focusing on interdisciplinary research from Latin American countries. Cuadernos de Vivienda y Urbanismo is a refereed journal that publishes scientific papers related to housing and territory construction from a trans-disciplinal point of view in the Latin American context. The refereeing process is double blind. The decision to accept, review or reject a paper is taken by the Editorial Board, based on the reports of external referees and communicated to the main author by the Editor. The evaluation is guided by the following criteria: i) content of the article: relevance, appropriateness, contributions to the field, depth and methodological and conceptual rigor. ii) formal aspects: style, structure and legibility. Cuadernos de Vivienda y Urbanismo is aimed at reaching students, academics and professionals within disciplines related to housing and territory. One of the journal’s goals is to be an important source and a permanent reference for information exchange. Cuadernos de Vivienda y Urbanismo is published twice a year by the Instituto Javeriano de Vivienda y Urbanismo (Injaviu), an academic unit of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
