Scope

Currently known as Educational Research and Evaluation: An International Journal on Theory and Practice. Educational Research and Evaluation is a fully refereed international journal publishing original academic articles on all aspects of education. It appeals to an international readership and accepts articles that are well-informed and evidence-based. It is indexed by Scopus and attracts a strong number of citations. The journal is deliberately multi-disciplinary and broad in its scope, and addresses rigorous research and evaluation at all educational levels and in all sectors and fields of education. It publishes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods studies, for example, reports, surveys, case studies, experiments, action research, naturalistic and qualitative research, longitudinal studies, interventions in education and evaluation, and accounts of research in progress. Articles submitted must be suitable for an international readership, working with topics and issues that are of relevance across the world, for example, those that are theoretically driven, practical or policy problems, or a combination of these. Articles should make a useful, preferably new contribution to the theoretical knowledge base on education and/or to the international knowledge base on educational practice.
