Scope

Human Pathology Reports, a companion title to the respected Human Pathology, is a peer-reviewed, open access journal. The journal focuses on concise yet novel case series and quality case reports, the submissions of which should report on rare, novel or unusual presentation of an entity; or new diagnostic modalities that provide valuable insight into the pathogenesis or prognosis of a disease. It also publishes a wide range of other content types, including short research articles, letters and timely reviews. The journal welcomes submissions covering the spectrum of pathology including, but not limited to, neoplasms, inflammatory diseases, immune mediated diseases and iatrogenic diseases. The journal also welcomes submissions on methodological/technical advances (immunohistochemistry and molecular genetic studies) as well as digital pathology (e.g., telepathology and artificial intelligence). The journal is well-illustrated with high quality photomicrographs and other images. The mission of Human Pathology Reports is to achieve excellence in research, education and advocacy of pathology. Human Pathology Reports maintains the highest standards of the peer review process. If accepted for publication, the authors are notified of the decision and requested to pay an Article Publishing Charge. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
