The University of Bologna Law Review is a student-run, open access and double blind peer-review law journal published by the University of Bologna, Department of Legal Studies, and officially sponsored by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and the International Chamber of Commerce – Italy.
The main purpose of the journal concerns being a qualified research tool for practitioners, scholars, students, legislators, and others interested in legal studies.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from
