It is our great honor and pleasure to announce that the 19th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS 2016) organized by the IEEJ Industry Applications Society will be held in Chiba, Japan, from November 13 to 16, 2016. The number of participants of ICEMS 2016 is nearly 600, which is the remarkable record number of ICEMS held in Japan. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Chiba prefecture is next to Tokyo metropolis. The conference site, APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari Chiba, is just in front of Tokyo bay. Makuhari is a new city that is located in western Chiba City. The area has several parks, a beach, and plenty of shopping and dining options. The conference will provide a big opportunity for researchers and professionals from all over the world to present the latest researches and developments and to exchange useful information and experiences in the fields of electrical machines and systems such as rotating machines, linear machines, transformers, motor-drive systems, power converters, electric vehicles, railways, renewable energy, etc.
