Scope

Canadian Foreign Policy Journal ( CFPJ ) is a fully peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal published three times a year by the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada. Established in 1992, CFPJ is now Canada’s leading journal of international affairs. We welcome submissions on: -trade and international economic policies -multilateral, bilateral and regional relationships -development assistance and aid -Third World political and economic development -public diplomacy and international public policy -global governance -human security -diaspora -identity politics and social movements -failed and fragile states -international migration -human rights and governance -preventive diplomacy, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding -humanitarian emergencies and interventions -new diplomacy and cyber diplomacy -intelligence and national security -post-cold war defence policy -role of culture and communications in international relations -the history of foreign policy making -comparative analyses of foreign policy. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
