Scope

●The journal publishes original research papers that cover the major advancements and achievements in the field of chemical engineering in China. The papers concerned with interdisciplinary subjects related to energy, resources, advanced materials, biotechnology, environment, safety engineering and sustainable technology arhttp://www.hgxb.com.cn/CN/column/column13.shtmle especially encouraged. ● The columns included are Thermodynamics; Fluid dynamics and transport phenomena; Catalysis, kinetics, and reactors; Separation engineering; Process system engineering; Surface and interface engineering; Biochemical engineering and technology; Energy and environmental engineering; Material science and engineering, nanotechnology; Process safety; Modern chemical technology; Others. Papers are classified on the basis of their relevance to theoretical research, practical application or potential uses in the industry as Research Papers, Research Notes, Chemical Engineering Data and Reviews. Abstracts of all papers are written in both Chinese and English to promote international exchange. ● Prominent chemical experts and scholars have been invited to form the Editorial Committee. It enjoys recognition among Chinese academia and industry as a reliable source of information of what is going on in chemical engineering research, both domestically and abroad. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
