How to publish in this journal

The Revista Ciencias de la Salud is the official transmission body of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Universidad del Rosario. For the authors, is free to publish and to access this journal. The Journal publishes manuscripts with a foundation on any basic or clinical discipline related to health. However, we give prominence to quantitative studies of an analytical approach, to the qualitative studies such as ethnographies, life histories, and founded thesis, as well as to those related to diagnostic and epidemiological methods. Works on series studies or case presentation are also accepted, particularly if they cover problems of general interest, since these are the most conventional way to present data on health and the simplest types of clinical research design. Additionally, they can be useful for describing rare cases and as a source of hypotheses that stimulate further developments of analytical studies. Join the conversation about this journal

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
