Scope

Transactions of Tianjin University is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that publishes frontier achievements in the research fields of energy generation, storage and application that concerned by nations and society. Transactions of Tianjin University publishes a full mix of research article types, including Letters, Articles, Perspectives, Reviews, and Viewpoints. The scope of the journal is broad, topics published includes but not limits to: Solar energy and photovoltaics; Hydrogen production and storage; Fuel cells; CO2 conversion and storage; Photo- and electro-chemical conversion; Energy storage and conversion materials; Batteries and supercapacitors; Catalysis for conversion of various feedstocks; New strategies for the clean utilization of coal and oil; Biofuels; Energy policy. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
