Scope Flow, Turbulence and Combustion is published in association with the European Research Community on Flow, Turbulence and Combustion (ERCOFTAC). ERCOFTAC is a collaboration between European universities, research institutes and industry active in the area of applied fluid mechanics, and strongly promotes scientific research on current issues in this area. In this respect, the journal provides a forum for the publication of those research results that contribute to the solution of problems in flow, turbulence and combustion and related fields. The journal aims for an audience of readers and contributors coming from the entire international fluid mechanics community, both inside and outside academia, and underwriting the aims mentioned above.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
