Scope

Arqueología y Territorio Medieval is a scientific journal dedicated to the archaeology of medieval societies, between the Vth and XVth centuries as well as their prolongations in later times. Articles may be submitted to any section of the journal. To begin with, the length of the text and the documents accompanying it are unrestricted. However, following reports from the Editorial Production Team, the Editorial Board may propose certain limits or reductions in specific cases. The official languages of the magazine are Spanish and English, although texts in French, Italian and Portuguese can also be accepted, as well as essays in other languages from the Spanish state in exceptional cases. The magazine policy will essentially be guided by the ethical compromise with the scientific investigation. Aceptance: All originals are reviewed by the Editorial Committee, who reserves the right to return originals that do not come with the scope of the journal or do not comply with the rules for publication. The texts that passed this first analysis be submitted for external and anonymous peer review by well-known specialists in the subject. Contributions and suggestions will be sent back to the authors, so they can take them into account for the final version. The article will be reviewed for a second time if needed. Authors that do not agree with these corrections and suggestions, they must justify it properly or are free to withdraw their originals. Join the conversation about this journal
