Scope

It gives me a great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the ICICS 2017. ICICS is a premier networking forum in the Middle East region. It is one of the comprehensive technical conferences that focuses on almost all fields in the information and communication technology. It is a special forum for scholars, computer scientists and engineers to discuss their contributions and latest results with their peers and exchange ideas for future perspectives and further innovations. The key success of ICICS is the wide spectrum of novel contributions by researchers from 33 countries. We are very delighted for the response of our colleagues to the ICICS2017 CFP. We received a total of 184 submissions which were dispatched to 11 tracks technical committees. These committees handled the review process in a way to guarantee that each paper is reviewed by specialized scholars from several countries around the world. Nearly every submission received at least three reviews and the decision was made based on the average of the received reviews per manuscript. Special thanks are due to all the committees, track chairs and reviewers for their professionalism, hard work, dedication and support; thus rendering this year’s conference a success. After much deliberation and with help of the IEEE representatives, we accepted 65 papers for presentation and inclusion in the proceeding, which constitutes an acceptance rate of 35%, and we regret to have to not accommodate more papers as we would love to.
