Scope

On behalf of the organizing committee of the 46th annual IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN 2016), we are pleased to welcome you to Toulouse, France. This is the 46th edition of DSN, the premier conference on Dependable Computing. This year the technical program of DSN provides a great window in the state of the art and good practices in the fields of dependability and security. Addressed topics include analysis, implementation, and assessment of architectures, models, and protocols. Out of 259 submissions we accepted 5 Practical Experience Report papers and 53 Regular papers, for a total of 58 papers (25 on security and 33 on dependability), with an acceptance rate of 22%. Our thanks go to all the researchers who submitted their work. The review process consisted of two phases. In the first phase, 3 program committee reviewers were assigned to each submitted paper. Based on the reviews of the first round, about 73% of the papers were selected for the second phase. In the second phase, two additional program committee reviewers and, in a few cases, an additional external expert reviewer, were assigned. After the second phase, but prior to the Technical Program Committee meeting, the reviews were made available to the authors to provide a forum for responding to any factual errors in the reviews. The author responses were made available to all Technical Program Committee members before the meeting. Each paper was discussed at the Technical Program Committee meeting, which took place in Naples on February 26th and 27th with an 85% of the Technical Program Committee members attending in person. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
