Scope

La Revista Prisma Social (ISSN 1989-3469) forma parte de los canales de difusión e investigación de la Fundación iS+D para la Investigación Social Avanzada, entidad patrocinadora y editora de la Revista. Se trata de una publicación digital de Ciencias Sociales e investigación social de caracter trimestral, organizada en torno a un contenido temático por número. La Revista Prisma Social nació en diciembre de 2008 con la vocación de difundir y expandir la investigación de los fenómenos sociales, pues saber más de las necesidades, aspiraciones, sentimientos y pensamientos de las personas, es saber más del mundo. El objetivo principal de la Revista está orientado a la difusión de las investigaciones provenientes de las Ciencias Sociales y caracterizadas fundamentalmente por el factor de innovación social. Se pretende que la Revista integre la facilidad y accesibilidad propia de los medios de comunicación social y científica, con la precisión y el rigor que precisan los resultados de la investigación, de tal forma que sea útil a la sociedad y atractiva a los receptores sin perder la fuerza de la expresión ni el rigor científico. Así, se busca ofrecer una nueva perspectiva de análisis de la realidad que proporcione respuestas a los interrogantes que la sociedad se plantea. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
