How to publish in this journal


The International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing is concerned with the design, synthesis and application of estimators or controllers where adaptive features are needed to cope with uncertainties.Papers on signal processing should also have some relevance to adaptive systems. The journal focus is on model based control design approaches rather than heuristic or rule based control design methods. All papers will be expected to include significant novel material. Both the theory and application of adaptive systems and system identification are areas of interest. Papers on applications can include problems in the implementation of algorithms for real time signal processing and control. The stability, convergence, robustness and numerical aspects of adaptive algorithms are also suitable topics. The related subjects of controller tuning, filtering, networks and switching theory are also of interest. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
