Scope Environmental Engineering and Management Journal is an international journal that publishes reviewed original research papers of both experimental and theoretical nature in the following areas: environmental impact assessment; environmental integrated management; risk assessment and management; environmental chemistry; environmental protection technologies (water, air, soil); pollution reduction at source and waste minimization; chemical and biological process engineering; cleaner production, products and services; sensors in environment control; sources of radiation and protection technologies; waste valorization technologies and management; environmental biotechnology; energy and environment; modelling, simulation and optimization for environmental protection; technologies for drinking and industrial water; life cycle assessments of products; environmental strategies and policies; cost-profitt analysis in environmental protection; eco-industry and environmental market; environmental education and sustainable development. Environmental Engineering and Management Journal will publish: original communications describing important new discoveries or further developments in the above-mentioned topics; reviews, mainly of new rapidly developing areas of environmental protection; special themed issues on relevant topics; advertising.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
