Scope

La Revista Española de Medicina Legal, fundada en 1974, es el órgano de expresión oficial de la Asociación Nacional de Médicos Forenses. La revista publica artículos científicos de diferentes temas en el campo de la medicina legal y forense que se constituyen como un instrumento didáctico de la especialidad que permite al lector una actualización de diferentes temas en el campo de la medicina legal y forense, además de realizar una formación continuada en aspectos prácticos del ejercicio diario del médico forense en el ámbito de la Administración de Justicia. La revista se estructura en distintas secciones como son, entre otras, Originales, Revisiones, Casos médico-forenses, Medicina forense práctica, Medicina legal en imágenes, que pretenden integran a todos los colectivos - médicos forenses, especialistas en medicina legal y forense, profesores universitarios, facultativos del Instituto Nacional de Toxicología y Ciencias Forenses, psiquiatras y psicólogos, expertos en valoración del daño corporal, policía científica y juristas interesados en la materia, entre otros - de nuestro país para disponer de una revista multidisciplinaria en el ámbito de la medicina legal. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
