Die Zeitschrift beleuchtet organisationspsychologische Fragestellungen an den Schnittstellen von Organisation, Team und Individuum. Ausgehend von ihrer grundlegenden Verortung in der Organisationspsychologie schlägt die GIO eine Brücke zwischen Theorie, Forschung und Praxis. Ihrem Gegenstand entsprechend ist sie transdisziplinären und interdisziplinären Zugängen gegenüber offen. Zentrale Themenbereiche sind: Organisationsgestaltung im Spannungsfeld von Partizipation und Hierarchie, Organisations- und Gruppendynamik, Kooperation und Teamarbeit, Führung, Veränderungsprozesse sowie Organisationsberatung. Unsere Zeitschrift geht auf die seit 1970 erscheinende traditionsreiche Zeitschrift Gruppendynamik zurück und erscheint mit vier Heften pro Jahrgang. Sie richtet sich an Wissenschaftlich Tätige (Forscher/-innen, Lehrende, Studierende), Führungskräfte, Personaler/-innen, interne Berater/-innen sowie Praktiker/-innen in Organisationsberatung, Personal- und Teamentwicklung, Supervision und Coaching. Die Zeitschrift veröffentlicht wissenschaftliche Originalbeiträge, dabei sowohl theoretische Beiträge, Forschungsbeiträge wie auch Praxisberichte. Nach dem Editorial gibt es einen allgemeinen Teil zu aktuellen Themen im Kontext von Gruppe, Interaktion und Organisation, es folgt ein Thementeil zu einem thematischen Schwerpunkt, im letzten Teil gibt es z.T. kürzere Beiträge zu aktuellen Trends. Die Beiträge sollen vorzugsweise in deutscher Sprache verfasst werden. Jedes eingereichte Manuskript durchläuft ein peer review Begutachtungsverfahren. Es wird von zwei unabhängigen Reviewer/-innen begutachtet. Sind sich die Gutachter/-innen in ihrem Urteil nicht einig, wird ein/e Drittgutachter/-in hinzugezogen.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
