Now, as it is known to all of us, the intelligent computation is playing an increasing important role in the process of the rapid development of global industry and economics. So as we improve the technologies of intelligent computation application, we can improve promoting automation level greatly. The ICICTA 2014 will brings together an international community of researchers and practitioners in the field of intelligent computation theory and technology Advanced Control Technology and Automaton to discuss the latest advancements of the discipline, shape its future directions, and promote its diffusion among the scientific community at large. ICICTA 2014 was sponsored by Shenzhen Research Institute of Central South University, Department of Electronics Science and Technology, National University of Defense Technology, technically sponsored by Xi’an Communications Institute,and was held in China, Oct 25-26,2014, It is an annual forum dedicated to the emerging and challenging topics in intelligent computation.
