Scope

Founded in 1962 by Wiebe Vos (a pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church), and now published by “Societas Liturgica,” Studia Litugica is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. An international ecumenical review for liturgical research and renewal, Studia Liturgica’s aim is to: • Encourage research in the field of worship and allied subjects and explore the pastoral implications of such research • Facilitate the exchange of results and other liturgical knowledge • To deepen the mutual understanding of the various liturgical traditions and seeks for ways to make clear the relevance of liturgy in the contemporary world. Studia Liturgica is committed to the advancement of constructive and critical scholarship in the above areas and, therefore, welcomes articles by international experts in their respective fields while offering a forum for young theologians to publish their research findings. Most of the papers delivered at the biennial Congresses of the Societas Liturgica have been published in English in Studia Liturgica. Join the conversation about this journal
