Scope

Psychologie in Erziehung und Unterricht is a specialist psychological journal for research and practice. Its objectives include the communication of psychological findings and insights to all professions in the fields of education, counselling and instruction. The journal publishes articles on psychological aspects of familial upbringing and pre-school, school and university education, further training and education and psychological diagnostics, counselling and intervention in childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Psychologie in Erziehung und Unterricht is intended for educators, teachers and university lecturers, educational advisers and family counsellors, school psychologists and guidance counsellors, educational and careers consultants and for students of psychology, educational and social sciences. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
