Scope

Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (TNUAA, ISSN 1005-1120) is a comprehensive academic journal in English,which publishes original contributions related to all fields of aeronautics, civil aviation, astronautics and their theoretical basis. TNUAA,founded in Oct. 1982,is sponsored by Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (Nanjing, China). Published quarterly (bimonthly from 2014), the journal is one of the two existing English journals classified as aeronautics and astronautics in Chinese mainland.[...]The main aim of TNUAA is to report the scientific and technological achievements and frontiers in aeronautic engineering and astronautic engineering, in theory and practice. The journal provides a forum for authors from China and overseas, academia, research establishments and industry, and a platform for presenting work and research to an international audience. The topics of TNUAA cover most fields of aeronautics and astronautics, including aerospace engineering, energy and power engineering, automation engineering, information science and technology, mechanical engineering, material science and technology, civil aviation, and their theoretical basis, such as solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, flight mechanics, flight control, navigation theory, etc. Each paper contributed to TNUAA needs to be thoroughly refereed by two peer reviewers, all of whom are respected experts in their field. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
