Scope

The Journal of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery (JCEN) is the official journal of the Korean Society of Cerebrovascular Surgeons (KSCVS) and the Korean NeuroEndovascular Society (KoNES, is changed from SKEN in 2020). ‘Korean Journal of Cerebrovascular Surgery’ was launched in 1998 and ‘Journal of Korean Society of Intravascular Neurosurgery’ was in 2006. The joint venture between ‘Korean Journal of Cerebrovascular Surgery’ and ‘Journal of Korean Society of Intravascular Neurosurgery’ is effective as of March 2012 with all new publications following the Volume, Number, ISSN and EISSN of ‘Korean Journal of Cerebrovascular Surgery’ and abbreviated title is ‘J Cerebrovasc Endovasc Neurosurg’. This journal publishes papers dealing with clinical or experimental works on cerebrovascular disease. Accepted papers will include original work (clinical and laboratory research), case reports, technical notes, review articles, letters to the editor, and other information of interest to cerebrovascular neurosurgeon. Review articles can also be published upon specific request by the journal. Full text is freely available from http://www.the-jcen.org. The subscription fee of this journal is free for the members of KSCVS and KoNES. Quarterly publication is available in March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 each year. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
